Convert VMWare virtual appliance to Parallels the easy way
For the past few week I was stuck with a slow WinXP Virtual machine running on vmware fusion on my work macbook pro, so I decided to use parallels at first I was at a stand still because I have no idea how to convert my current vmware machine to work with parallels, I did some googling and this found this [click url] but unfortunately it does not work. But today thanks to 2 big cup of old town white coffee I stumble across "parallels transporter" which a tools included with parallels that can convert your working vmware virtual machine to a working parallels virtual machine in just a few click! honestly ONLY A FEW FRICKING CLICK!
before I wasted a whole week to find this dammit I wish I could found it sooner !
Note: before you convert your vmware virtual apps please to uninstall the vmware tools inside the guest OS first or you wont be able to uninstall it after converting due to the vmware tools can't reconize the virtual thingy that it is running ( I learn it the hard way)
I'm quite happy with parallels, my WinXP vm run much faster in parallels compare when it was running on Vmware Fusion
